Still
Lance was my first boyfriend. I still have his ID bracelet, which he insisted I keep. I loved him then, he is in my heart still. He is the only person I ever knew who wanted to go to Vietnam. When I was still in Stanton Junior High School he was often there waiting for me after school. We talked about his desire to be a Marine and I will never forget how happy he was when he was accepted. The first time I came out of school and saw him in his uniform is forever engraved in my mind. R.I.P. Lance. Those of us who were fortunate enough to know and love you will forever feel the pain of your loss.
