Bravo 1st Bn, 9th Marines
As part of a gun team, Lance was my team leader in Vietnam 1967. We went on many patrols, sweeps and ambushes side by side. He was an outstanding Marine and I am very proud to have served with him. I have never forgotten Lance.

Always Remembered
To your brother and family who read this. I fought with Lance at Con Thien. I was part of his gun team. Lance was a great Marine. I never forgot him and each year I celebrate his memory often. God bless all of you.

So sad
Lance is my husbands brother. He was only 12 when his brother deployed. Still misses him dearly. We have a special place in our home that has Lances medals and picture. Wish I had the opportunity to have met him.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL Lance Norman Jenkins, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
