Thank You

Dear PFC William Jarboe, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It's the end of summer. The time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Billy One hell of a friend. Bonnie, he loved you so.

I don't know if any of you remember me,my name is Louis Banholzer.Billy , Bonnie and my wife, now of 48 years, Cheryl. We didn't get to know Bonnie it was just a time that every thing seemed to go by so fast.It didn't matter though, Billy had found a girl that he loved, and it was Bonnie.I received a letter from Bill telling me his address. I too got my letter back stating could not deliver. And then my phone rang. It was Bonnie, she was crying so hard I could hardly make out what she was saying. When she calmed down a little it hit me and hurt me so bad. I believe his funeral procession was and still is the longest I've ever been in. Everybody loved Billy.
Bonnie, Cheryl and I have never forgotten you. Anytime Billy's name comes up your name quickly followed. That phone call from you, I don't know it just seemed like a dream. But you know Billy, he gave his life so his fellow men might live. I'm so happy for you and your family. I'll be turning 70 next month and I think Billy would turn 70 in April. I don't know how Billy came up,but I was telling my son about you and Bill and what a friend he was and how much love he had for you. Well I'm sure glad to be able to talk about Billy, it seems to take away some of the hurt, but he'll never be forgotten. We, that's Cheryl and I, love you too dear.
