I am a high school student at Gridley High School and I am doing this for my U.S. History class and I just wanted to say thank you. You gave your life up not just for me but for other people to. Even though I didn't know you I still appreciate what you did. You arn't alive to see how everyone in our country lives today but thanks to you, you helped make our country advanced and you didn't even get a chance to see what you did. We all appreciate that.

I am a student at Gridley High School in Gridley Illinois and as a U.S. History project, my class and others are trying to see to it that every soldier who lost their live in the Vietnam War has a remembrance on this monument. I would like to thank you for all you have given us, with the deepest and sincerest, thank you.

As one of the 1046 Marylanders who made the ultimate sacrifice we are honored to post your photograph. Operation Remember will continue until we have recovered the photos of all our fallen brothers from the State of Maryland.
