Thank you for your sacrifice

Herbert (Butch) was likely a distant relative. Although I did not know him or his family, I am thankful for his sacrifice. Rest In Peace. My step-son was just at the Wall and took a photo of his name, that I have submitted to this site.

for Joyce

Butch was my neighbor growing up in Orlando, and we were high school seniors at Evans together.friend He was the first friend I had to fall in that war, a war I missed only because of a medical reason. He was a very nice boy, and had many many friends who came to remember him. Watching him drive around in his 57 Chevy always made me smile. Ive thought of him often over the past 40 odd years, and now I see his Dad has gone to meet him and Gary.
