My Uncle Leslie

CPL Hurlebaus was my dad's youngest brother, my uncle. I was 11 years old when he passed. He was a very caring and loving person, who loved his family and friends very much. He especially loved his country. He was a very proud Marine. I have nothing but very wonderful memories of him during the 11 years that he was with me. I miss him very much and I thank everyone who posts remembrance of him. I also want to thank all who have served in the past for our country, currently for our country and in the future for our country. May peace be with us all someday very soon.

Neighbor as a child

I remember his parents as a tree was planted in his remembrance on the front lawn of Kenston High School.
