Dear friend
Dearest Billy, you suffered and died needlessly in that war along with so many other innocent soldiers. I have wondered all these years where you would be today had that fateful day not happened. Your beloved Poco Tolan ended up breaking both my legs, but I still loved him because he had been yours. As you know, he was one crazy horse!! Your life and your death have influenced me all my life. You touched my heart on earth and you broke my heart when you left. You are loved and missed deeply.

Thank You
Dear PFC Wilhelm Hurkmans, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Operations & Intelligence Specialist. I did the research on you on your 51st anniversary, sad. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Friend
It's been a long, long time, Billy, but I can still remember that day about 53 years ago when we were both kicked by that mean little Shetland Pony! One kick from that itty-bitty horse and two "cowboys" went flying through the air.
