My Dear Brother

I have just found this page, thanks to my daughter. I have missed you so much over the years and often wonder how your life would have turned out. Mom never stopped thinking about you, she loved you so much. They are all gone now, but I am sure you know that, as I hope they are there with you. Some day I will join you all, but I am not in a hurry to make that journey. I have a nice family, children, grand children and great grand children, so I am still needed here. Take care of Mom, Dad, and Jim. Thank you for your service, things are different now, the military are thanked not scorned as so many were during the Vietnam war. I know there were timed you were fearful and I wish I could have been there to hold your hand, but I will some day. Love ?? you. Big Sis, Pat

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Donald Raymond Huey, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
