Great Roommate and Friend
Charlie and I were roommates during our F4 squadron’s deployment to Kunsan, Korea in 1969. We were the same size so we swapped clothes. He taught me to play tennis. We flew together and we partied together. He was and still is in my memory a truly great guy. He was liked and respected by all of his fellow pilots. I was flying F4s out of Korat AFB in Thailand when he was reported down. His is the first name that I touch when I visit the Wall. I will remember him until we meet again.

Putting a face to a name.
While serving in Vietnam, 4-1-70 to 4-1-71 I purchased a POW/MIA bracelet with the name of Capt. Charles Hoskins, 2-16-71 to remember someone lost during my tour. Now I can put a face to the name. Thank you.

Will Never Be Forgotten
On this Memorial Day as every year my thoughts turn to Capt Hoskins. Last year marked 50 years since he was shot down. I have lived a whole life since then and he was not able to. Honoring his service and memory today.
