Fair Winds and Following Seas

Raymond is my uncle. He left behind 2 sisters, Maggie and Katie and 6 brothers, Paddy, Mikey, Cookie, Apple, Roger, Johnny, and his mother Rose. Rose, Cookie, and Roger and Apple have joined you in paradise. He left behind 6 nieces, Gail, Kelly, Sharon, Annmarie, Lisa, Rosemary and 2 nephews, Michael, Raymond and 14 great nieces and nephews.

I served in the army myself and am forever grateful for your service and sacrifice. I would have liked to have known you.

It is my privilege and honor to continually work with and serve veterans in my job.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Raymond Frederic Bardet, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
