Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from Ron Zimmer is touching. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

I remember the last time I talked to David. He was walking down the street and we stopped to talk. We had gone to school together as kids but had not see each other for awhile. He told me he was going into the service instead of going to college. The next time I came home from the UASF on leave I went to visit a Memory Garden that had been set up in our community. I was told that every service member was on the wall. As I looked for my name I found his, it was listed under Memorial. Many years have passed and in the next few weeks I am going to the wall. And I will remember my friend who I talked with that day. David RIP.
