Cris "Doc" Holliday was remembered recently in a letter that I received from his leader Rich Jones. He stated,"Doc" was clear of the ambush site according to a survivor, but was killed when he went back for the radio, fearing that the NVA would get our radio frequency and codes. One of the gentlest people I have ever known". My brother, Cpl. Herman "Jude" L. Judy, Jr. was killed in the ambush in Binh Duong along with "Doc". God bless you "Doc" and "welcome home". I am grateful that my brother had buddies like you during his time in Vietnam. Love, Donna Judy Lathe
