My Brother, George A. Holladay
You always picked on me when we were little kids. But you would, in no short order, take care of anyone else that chose to give me a hard time. When we said our goodbyes and you left for Nam, we expected you to come home. My big brother would be back to give me a hard time again. Then the telegram came. It was so hard to accept. We love you and know we will see you again. We miss you so.

Thank You
Dear Sgt George Holladay, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Your 52nd anniversary is soon, sad. Next week is Independence Day, and there is no better time to honor you. Please watch over the USA, it still needs your strength. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SGT George Alfred Holladay, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
