Uncle Terry,
I remember the day dad received the call that you had passed. I hadn’t seen my dad cry till that day. My memories of you were just snippets as you lived in Indiana and us in CA, but I do remember you being the kindest soul. You took time to pay attention to this young girl when we first visited Indiana, and you took me on a ride with you standing behind me on an upright mower. Later, you came to visit us when you were in CA. I will always remember your sweet smile and kind nature. I will never forget you, nor will I allow my children and grandchildren to forget the sacrifices soldiers like you have made for this country. I love and appreciate you and hope to see you one day in Heaven.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

Dear Cpl Terry Hoffman, Thank you for your service as an Aircraft CNE/Weapons/DECM Systems Technician. Happy Summer in heaven! Please watch over the USA, it still needs your strength. Rest in peace with the angels.

This Memorial Day Weekend, we remember CPL Hoffman as a patriot who gave all for freedom and liberty. May we live our lives in such a way as to be worthy of his sacrifice.
