HOME TOWN FRIEND AND FELLOW WARRIOR
Charles and I graduated from McKinney High School in 1966. What I remember most about him was his smile. He was always smiling. You would't think of him as a tough guy but he did play linebacker on a championship footall team and even intercepted a pass once and ran it back for a touchdown. Talk about smiling. Two weeks after graduation I left for the Marines and never saw him again. The world would be a better place if Charles Hoffman was still around. Til we meet again, bro, Semper Fi,

A Tribute To a Golden Dragon.
Charles was a medic with 1st. Bn. 14th.Inf.
4th.Inf.Div. I trained him in-country prior to his duty in the field.I was with Charles the day he died. I think of him and all the
Golden Dragons who gave their life in service to our country and South Vietnam.
I welcomed him in to the unit and I sent him home. God Bless you Charles. Respectfully Submitted by: Paul (Doc) Angrisano, Battalion Evacuation Sargent,
