THE WALL OF FACES

I appreciate the opportunity to leave a remembrance for Ron Hock who was my husband from December 1964 till his death in Vietnam on July 31, 1966. He left a son, Mark T. Hock, who is now 34 years old and lives in San Antonio, Texas. I also live in San Antonio and am now a missionary to Southeast Asia and will return to Laos and Vietnam on February 17, 2000. Ron still holds a special place in my heart after all these years and since going to Vietnam myself I have experienced a deeper healing and an understanding of what the war there was all about. I hope that one day soon our son Mark will be able to go with me to the Wall in D.C. and also make a trip himself with me to Vietnam to meet the people his father gave his life for many years ago. Still think of Ron Hock. I remember how proud he was
that his son was in a Christmas play, playing the
infant Jesus. He never saw his son.
