YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!

Dear Chief Warrant Officer Hiscock ~ You Are Not Forgotten!
This is the 3rd year, on the anniversary of your passing, that I ran a mile with you in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace, Dear Brother.

Each year since September 2015, at the annual 5th Division Army reunion, members of the Society of the Fifth Division, U.S Army remember the 514 soldiers from the 1st Brigade, 5th Division, who were Killed in Action in Vietnam. You are among the soldiers remembered. You Are Not Forgotten!

You are remembered

Stephen, I never met you, but in 1974 your mother deeply inspired me to succeed in school. I feel like knowing her was indirectly knowing you. Now I’m a successful engineer and owe it to your mom. We knew your mom had lost you to the war, but it took me decades to understand. Your mom applied herself to inspiring her students, in spite of what tragedy took from her, and succeeded. In a way she created a living legacy for you by helping us become adults living the life you should have.
