Ground Casualty

SP5 Namon Hines Jr. was a Food Service Specialist serving with the 5th Transportation Company, 4th Transportation Command. On June 24, 1967, SP5 Hines died in Vietnam where he reportedly drowned after falling into water while jumping from one barge to another barge. His body was recovered and identified June 28, 1967.
