Thank you from the son of Terrin Hicks

I would like to thank everyone that wore my father's MIA bracelet and showed your support for finding the MIA's lost in Vietnam. My sister, Dena, and I are Terry's only children. Here we are 33 years later, and my father is still missing. Our grandmother, Nana (his mom), is still alive at age 92 and still dreams of resolving this issue before her death. The JTF has attempted to excavate three sites in recent years; however, my dad's remains were not found. I believe too many years have passed by the time our government decided to act. The landscape has changed dramatically in that region - as much of the jungle has become farmland or been developed. I'm afraid that any evidence of the crashsite, including my father's remains, may have been moved long ago. I was only 5 when he was shotdown in his F4, so I don't remember much. However, I have been told many stories about him and what a great person he was - an outgoing social guy liked by everyone. I only wish I could have known him through my many years of growing up. It means a lot to me and my family that there are still people out there that remember my father and think of him from time to time. I just wanted to write a note to say thank you for supporting my father (and us) through the years. Thanks again and God Bless.

Never Forgotten

I have had your bracelet for 25 years and have seen your name on the Wall. Even though, I never knew you, you are not forgotten.

A Name I Will Never Forget

I wore Terrin Hicks MIA braclet as a teenager. I have often wondered if he was found. Today, decades later, my question has been answered. His name is all I know of him, yet I will never forget him.
