I was only 8 or 9 when Barb and Allen moved into our apt building. They were always kind to me and I loved spending time with them. Once I got to go with Barb to pick Allan up at work, and even ate with them a few times. They made a little girl feel very special. I did not understand the war at the time, and why Allan had to go. I understood even less when we heard about Allan's death. I have never forgotten either of them or the blessing they were in my life. God Bless Allan, and thank you.
