You were my childhood and teen best buddy

I saw you the last time when you visited my mother and me on leave before heading back to Vietnam. I always think of you and the fun we had during school days. I recall as you departed you told my mother and me you didn't think you would make it back after returning to Vietnam. I myself was on leave in the Marine Corps and then heading to staging battalion at Camp Pendleton and on to Vietnam. Our Country lost one hell of a soldier and I lost my best friend.....I will always honor you and cherish the memories we experienced together. I know we will meet again in heaven......May God Bless and keep you always buddy......Amen
