THE WALL OF FACES

I served with Kayle in the 334th and it was an honor. I will always remember you and think of you often. My heart has always gone out to your family and loved ones. I have a rubbing of your name from the Wall in Washington which I will always cherish. I am including a copy of the Memorial Service held in your honor from 1969.

Dear Sgt Kayle Henderson,
Thank you for your service as an Aircraft Armament Repairman. It's Mother's Day Weekend. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in Peace with the angels.

SGT Kayle D. Henderson was a helicopter mechanic serving with the 334th Armed Helicopter Company. On July 6, 1969, SGT Henderson died in Bien Hoa Province, RVN, in a helicopter accident.
