We Will Remember

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Thank You

Dear Cpl Robert Hemnes,
Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Cannon Crewmember. Yesterday was the 44th anniversary of the official end of the war. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in Peace with the angels.

We were together.

Cpl Hemnes and I were together when he was KIA. I was wounded. He was defending his gun position and died fighting a superior enemy force. All who knew him should recognize his bravery in the face of overwhelming odds. He was a true Airborne Trooper!
