Dear Ted, I have not forgotten you. We were right next to each other that day. Somehow I was only wounded. I rode back with you on the helicopter. So sad, it was a bad day. I relive it constantly. May we meet again.

Dear Cpl Theodore Hatle,
Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. It is Holy Thursday. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

You are a good man Hatel. Quiet, thoughtful, tough. Never complained. I remember you well. I remember June 23, 1969. I remember your face. I will never forget your bravery under fire. God rest your soul.
