Never Forget

On this day September 21, 1 969 our family was torn apart. Nothing was ever the same after that. Mom and dad lost a son, my brothers and I lost our older brother, friend. There was on emptiness in our hearts that we couldn't fill,I still feel it to this day. I will always miss you, I miss your laugh. I even miss hearing the nickname you gave me as a child, that I hated. You were my brother, and my friend. You will always be missed. I will never, ever forget about you as long as I've. I love you RIP

MEMORIAL DAY

This Memorial Day had a new meaning for me. WSHS dedicated a new monument for the four young men KIA in Vietnam. The service was a great blessing for all the families and friends who were able to attend. We all knew that you had not been forgotten. The only thing missing were our parents, and brothers that are in Heaven with you. I felt honored to be your sister. I still miss you and love you every day. Nothing will ever change that as long as I live. Rest in peace my brother, you will never be forgotten. All gave some, some gave all.

Veterans Day 2019

Saturday I received a flag that was flown over the United States Capital in your honor. There was also a certificate honoring you, saying you are not forgotten. I decided to open the package on Veterans Day. It has been 50 years, and you are missed as much today as you were the day we received the news that you wouldn't be coming home. This year has been hard with out you. I miss you and love you. Most of all I miss your laugh, and the ability to make me laugh. You will always be in my heart.

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Larry Hathcock,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is Holy Thursday. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
