honoring you....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from your children Ronnie and Katrina are especially poignant. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....

My Grandpa

Dear Grandpa:

As Memorial Day approaches, I wish everyday that I could have known you. I wish you weren't taken away from my nana, and your kids. I thank you for serving your country. I pray that one day I get to meet you. I love you!

50th

Today is my birthday, my 50th birthday, the same ones that have passed since your death in the Vietnam War. I have spent a lot of time looking for information about you. Your childhood, school, friends, your future plans that remained for eternity in Vietnam. Also who remembered you, if there was any place that bore your name, your comrades in combat, I have not been able to complete my work, which will surely accompany me the rest of my life, but I can assure you that you will not be forgotten. Your country will always remember and honor you. Rest in peace soldier.
