Thank You
Dear Sgt Denton Hasdorff,
Thank you for your service with the 6250 Support Squadron. It is Holy Week. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Ground Casualty
Tan Son Nhut Air Base was a Republic of Vietnam Air Force (RVNAF) facility. It was located near the city of Saigon in southern Vietnam. The United States used it as a major base during the Vietnam War, stationing Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine units there. Before dawn on June 12, 1968, the Viet Cong fired ten 122mm rockets at the base, destroying two USAF aircraft and killing one airman, A1C Denton J. Hasdorff. A second American was wounded. Hasdorff died at the U.S. Army hospital at Long Binh while being treated for fragmentation wounds. He was posthumously promoted to Sergeant. Mom & Dad never got over losing you, none of us did, we find comfort now knowing that you are with them and with Paul, Susie and Dominic. Rest In Peace! Will see you on the other side some day - but will need your prayers to make sure I get there??! Love, Patty
