Teaching Vietnam

Sitting here after the teaching Vietnam War to high school students and showing the movie, Dear America: Letters Home from Vietnam, I couldn't help but remember Charles Robert Bales. We grew up in the same church and I remember how devastating it was to his parents (friends of my parents), our church, and our small town. My prayers are with his family, as I know they still miss him.
