Dear Cousin

Richard: I never met you, even though we share a pair of great grandparents. Of course, you grew up on the other side of the mountain and WV can be funny that way. Your sacrifice and Randy's sacrifice a few months later probably saved my life. By the time they pinned the gold bars on me too many good men and women had died and our country was sick of the war, so the Army trained me a bit more and sent me home to wait. God Bless You. You are not forgotten and because you stood up and did your duty when your country called, I am proud to say that we are related.

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Richard Harrison,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is Lent, which is a time of preparation. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
