How well I remember traveling down from Ft. Gordon to visit at Ft. Benning to visit you, but you guys were in field training. That was the last chance to see you before you shipped off to Nam. I remember all the wonderful times we spent together growing up in Kill Buck and Salamanca. I was out of the Army when you got hit. It was a real shock! Will never forget you!!!

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. We should be forever thankful for the sacrifices of you and so many others to ensure the freedoms we so often take for granted.

Dear Sgt Charles Harrison,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. It is Lent, which is a time of preparation. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Charlie, I am writing again to convey my sincere gratitude for your service and bravery. I wrote to you when you were serving! I know you were a herdsman at Zuber Farms in Churchville, NY and a volunteer fireman! You were my hero then and you remain my hero to this day! God has a great angel up in heaven! YOU!
