Such a sweet friend
Dear Frank, I will always remember you as being one the sweetest and funniest guys I ever met. I remember how much you loved your Nancy. This never should have happened. You should be married to her and a grandfather by now. I guess only the good do die young. Rest in peace and know that you will always be loved.

Tiger Kills State Marine
Special to The Inquirer
ASHLAND, Pa., Nov.18.-A young Schuylkill County Marine was clawed to death "presumably by a tiger," last Thursday while serving in Vietnam, his parents were informed Monday.
No further details of the death of Pfc. Francis Baldino, 19, of the nearby village of Big Mine Run were available.
News of the tragedy was given to Baldino's parents, Anthony and Mary, on Monday morning by the Rev. John McPeak, pastor of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church here.
Father McPeak went to Big Mine Run at the request of two Marines assigned to report the death to the family.
Baldino, a 1967 graduate of North Schuylkill High School here, enlisted in the Marines last February and had been in Vietnam since July 28. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a younger brother, John, and a sister, Mary Ann.
Semper Fidelis, Marine!
