I found your picture

My name is Krysteen Wescott and I am the daughter of Sgt 1st class Robert H Wescott Jr. It meant a lot to me to find your picture.I found your picture and Helen at the Atlanta Historical Society was nice enough to try to make your picture clearer for me. You are remembered.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Lewis Andrew Harmon, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

I was there that day

I was right behind you as you and Matheny went through that hedge row. I was there for you and responded to your cries for help as the grassy field was on fire. I stomped the fire out around you to ease your fears of being burned. I was there that day when you left this world. I miss you Lewis.
