Never Forgotten

Dear Soldier,
We’ve never met. I’m a student from Illinois working on the Gridley High School Posting Project for my history class. I was born years after your death. The only reason I know about you is from my history books and stories I’ve been told about the war. But I admire you, I have the utmost respect for you, and I am forever grateful to you. Your death was one among thousands, but was still quite significant. You are truly a hero and will always be remembered. May God bless you and your family.
Sincerely,
Natalie Stoller

In your memory

I regret that you are not here today, but your memory lives on. When I think of you, I will always remember what you did at Vietnam. You fought for the rights and freedoms of people that you had never met, and sacrificed the most important thing that you ever could... your life. As a proud American, I salute you, dear soldier. Rest in Peace.

I am a senior at Gridley High School in Gridley, IL. I write this remembrance to you as
part of the Gridley High School Posting Project, a Project that ensures that those brave
men and women whom either perished or went MIA during the Vietnam War are not
forgotten.
