Still wearing your bracelet. Still hoping you will come home. I have spoken, many times, with your sister Joan. Bracelet is getting very worn, going to have to order a new one soon. Will keep this one in a box with other momentos of that terrible war.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. It remains my fervent hope you will be returned home after the passage of so many years.

I wore the bracelet with your name on it for years. I would pray everyday that you would be found. I had to squeeze the bracelet so tight because my wrist was so small that it broke in half. I kept in on my dresser for years.
