Thank You Marine
As a fellow Buckeye, I say "THANK YOU"
As a Veteran, I say "JOB WELL DONE"
As an American, "YOUR DEATH WAS NOT IN VAIN"
And as a Believer, "YOUR SPIRIT IS ALIVE--AND STRONG"
Although we never met personally, I want to thank you again for your courageous and valiant service, faithful contribution, and most holy sacrifice, given to this great country of ours!
REST IN ETERNAL PEACE MY MARINE FRIEND

Dick and I were buddies from ITR (Camp Geiger) through Camp Pendleton and on to 2/4. We spoke of families girl friends etc. Dick was assigned to Hotel and I to Golf. Although I was not in the field when Dick was killed in the ambush on 9/21, my platoon was assigned to recover the remains of the 13 marines who died that day. Dick was one of them.
Although 32 years have passed, Dick has never been long from my thoughts and prayers for his family and Jean Stevens (his girl).
I know that Dick is with Him in His glory and are forever young and in my heart.
Semper Fi.
