Thank You
Dear PFC Richard Hamblin,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Your 72nd birthday just passed, happy birthday. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Think of you always
Dink was a friend of mine. So many memories of high school. He was so funny. I've been to the wall and I cried like a baby when I found his name. I really am sad of the life you didn't get. Rest in peace my sweet friend. You are thought of almost every day. Your death really haunted me.i miss you my friend.

I remember when.
I was 11 years old when Dick was killed. we lived on Dayton road very close to the Hamblins home. I was to young to grasp what his death meant, but that is first time I saw my father cry, when he first got the news. that I will never forget. REST IN PEACE NEIGHBOR.
