Thank You

Dear Captain Walter Hall,
Thank you for your service as a Rotary Wing Aviation Unit Commander - Helicopter Pilot. You are still MIA. Please come home. The war was years ago, but we all need to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Ft Benning October 1964

Doc Hall & my dad Huck were Orono/Old Town friends. Walt was my mentor at Univ Maine. Last saw Walt/Ft Benning 10/64 (I just finished Army OCS & Jump School). Sad day when Dad called. Visit The Wall every Memorial Day/will never forget him/others.

Never forget my Dad

Thanks to all of my Dad's friends who have gotten me to know him through stories and remembrances. I can only hope I have become the person he would have been proud of.
