Dad I have gotten to know you through the men you served with, they each have made sure I know my dad. I can only hope I have grown to be the man you would have wanted me to become. We shall not res til you and crew are home.

Ft Benning October 1964
Doc Hall & my dad Huck were Orono/Old Town friends. Walt was my mentor at Univ Maine. Last saw Walt/Ft Benning 10/64 (I just finished Army OCS & Jump School). Sad day when Dad called. Visit The Wall every Memorial Day/will never forget him/others.
