Currahee Remembered

Peter David Guzman was born March 17, 1949 and his home of record was Los Angeles, California. He was a Spec 4 and served with the 3rd Battalion, 506th Infantry, (Currahees) 101st Airborne Division. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Pete Guzman. A few days before going to Vietnam, he married his long time sweetheart, Rose Marie on her birthday, September 12, 1969. Four months later, January 28, 1970, he was killed on Hill 474.

Peter is buried in Resurrection Cemetery in Montibello, California. God rest your soul, Currahee!
