THE WALL OF FACES

Gary and the team he was part of were all killed just after sun up on May 4th (not the 11th). I heard the reports from the gunfire. He was a friend of mine as was another team member, Brian Knight. Both were too nice (a compliment) for the line of work we were in. They left empty chairs at homes in MO and NY but hopefully not in heaven.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
