My friend, my hero
Today is May 22, 2022, and with Memorial Day coming upon us, I am once again remembering you and thinking about you more than usual. Although you still remain in my heart, you were my friend from the time we were just small children in kindergarten until the day you passed. Today, I will assemble a floral arrangement for your grave and pay my annual visit. Haven’t decided what my chat with you will be about this year, but I never cannot talk about our old fishing days on Chippewa Lake and our battles, both verbal and physical on that empty lot baseball field on Park Street. These days, I think about how I am now 72 and feeling old, and in a way, how wonderful it is that you’re still young and flying high. Somehow, I can’t imagine you ever being old. Still miss you dear friend and we’ll chat soon!

Together again!
Gary, I’m sure you were there along with your dad to welcome your mom to her new home in heaven! At 101 she was ready to enter into the presence of Jesus her Savior and the grand reunion with family and friends who had gone before! I know her brother Don, my dad, would have been there with a big hug for her as well. See you all soon!

To the uncle I never met
I have heard stories of you from your brother,Steve, who is my father. I have also heard stories from your sisters and mom, who are my aunts and my grandma.
I am so excited to meet you someday. Thank you for your service. I am happy to read everyone's thoughts and stories on this page. I cannot wait to show my dad this. I know my dad looked up to you as a brother in so many ways.
