Your memory lives on in your sister

Curtis's sister, Greta is a dear friend of mine. She spoke so highly of him and his valiant service to our country.

For Greta, I say: I so appreciate his service to our country and for all of us at home. I believed in the Viet Nam war at the time and was saddened that our servicemen were treated so horrible when they returned home. They fought valiantly and answered the call that our nation sent out.

From your memories you shared with me about Curtis, your brother sounds like a wonderful person and the world is a lesser place with his absence.

Thank You

Lt Baker,
I wish that it were possible to thank you personally, perhaps one day in another place. You perished with my brother Paul, but your losses were not in vain. Thank you for your sacrifice.

NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER

It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.
