High schuthside oool friend
Rick and I went to HS together. We knew each other and both hailed from the Southside of Chicago. We weren't close friends, he had his group and I hung around with a different bunch, but we had classes together and spent time at school and sometimes in the neighborhood. He had a great personality and was fun to be around. On my return from Vietnam, I heard about Rick. I sometimes wish I had spent more time with him, RIP buddy, an old friend, they called me Danny Beau in high school, is sitting here 53 years later remembering you.

Thank You
Dear Cpl Richard Greene,
Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

I have not forgotten and I never willl.
CPL Greene another year has past and it always as if time had stopped. I am adding a picture of Kevin Carlin this year. I talked with his sister who told me Kevin took his own life in 1991. I am late adding this as it is always difficult to remember your loss. In the picture on the far left is Kevin I am the next Marine. All the Marines shown were wounded on Hill 512. Kevin and I were wounded trying to save a Marine under a mortar attack July 2, 1968. 2nd Bn 4th Marines
