THE WALL OF FACES

1LT Richard Albert Green was an alumnus of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY. He was one of 335 men from West Point who died or are MIA in Southeast Asia during the period October, 1957 – September, 1972. Well done, be thou at peace.

Thinking of you, Richard, on this 4th of July and once again thank you for your service and sacrifice. Time continues to go by, but you and all those who selflessly gave their all in the service of our country will never be forgotten. God bless you and your family and may you continue to rest in peace.

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

Richard is buried at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson, Passaic County,NJ.
