Peace with Honor

Larry was survived by his wife, Sylvia, of Detroit and his father Sam T Spencer of Talladega, Alabama.

Larry began his Vietnam tour on Dec 4, 1967 and was attached to the Army's 101st Airborne Division, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, Company D.

Larry was involved in an engagement with the NVA and VC south of Phuoc Vinh City when he was killed by hostile fire. There were a total of 13 casualties.
