THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. While all deaths in Vietnam are tragic that you died just six days after your 20th birthday is especially so. May you rest in eternal peace.

I met Dennis in San Diego a few weeks before he was to leave for Vietnam. He told me he was worried. I sent him box of cookies shortly before he was killed and received some letters from him. He was a wonderful person.

SA Green, although I don't think I ever met you, I was there when you were lost. I was at NSAD Tan My and used to do nightly patrols with other personnel from your department. It's been over 50 years but I still remember the night you were lost and what happened to you. Take care shipmate. We will always remember you.
