Thank You

Dear Ssgt David Gormican,
Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Your 74th birthday just passed, Happy birthday. It has been too long, and it's about time for us all to acknowledge the sacrifices of those like you who answered our nation's call. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SSGT David C Gormican, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Uncle David's Favorite Song - Last leave before his tour

A beautiful song, we both listened to a few times at Ft. Lauderdale Beach before he went back to Vietnam. We all loved David. He will always be missed The song was " Whiter Shade of Pale' by Procol Harum. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb3iPP-tHdA

Forever Young

David was the Squad Leader of the 1st squad. He knew his job and he did it well. Where ever he lead us we would follow willingly with no questions asked. Best of all he was a good friend to all of us. We will never forget David Gormican, Forever Young.
