To My Forever Friend/ Fellow Marine
Bob, you died by my side , so long ago.... I still feel the hurt within me to this very day.... All the combat we saw together , how proud we were to be REAL MARINES fighting for our country, and just plain trying to stay alive......We Connecticut brothers, you from Bloomfield and me from Enfield, always kept our heads afloat in such terrible times.......Someday, if there is a hear after, I will see you again and we will again talk..... You know, I went to visit your family when I got home and gave your watch to your dad as you requested...... It was hard, but I kept my promise my friend.....Robbie
