Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP5 Jack Leroy Goodwin, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Thank you for your sacrifice.

Brave soldier,
As part of the Gridley High School Posting Project in Gridley Illinois, I would like to take a moment to remember the sacrifice that you made for this country. I wish that I could have known you, so that I would know what about you inspired your dedication. You are a true hero!

Tah ho mah

On the day of your mother's passing from this world to that of the spirits, may your souls meet on the Tah ho mah, the great snow covered volcanoes. And know that your mother Swede was a Tah ho mah for your family.
