Unselfish Marine to the End.

I have the upmost respect for "Speedy" I read that he was injured and had the corpsman take care of the more severely wounded than he. Unselfish to the end. It was my buddy Jared Frisbie that the corpsman went and tried to help.. it was too late. The rockets and shooting that day were too much. Speedy died that day as well. I dont know anything else about the man but his giving of his care to have others looked after tells me alot about the man and his mission. There is aspecial place in heaven for people like him. So young so important. He did the Corps and his country proud. His son writes of his dad and knows he was special. some where theres a platoon book in Parris isaland that has his picture in it. Mine was there plt 227 April 1969.
