Ralph, my Friend, Brother and Comrade

On This Memorial weekend, I remember our times in Butzbach, Germany, riding the bus to Frankfurt High School and the pre-Army Days. What a blast we had going up to the Gasthaus on the hill, playing pinball talking about our future and following our Dad's footsteps in to the Army. Then on 29 August 1969 yours stopped, KIA-Vietnam. You were only in-country for several months when you gave your all. I have spent a many Memorial Day wondering how our lives would have turned out if you would have made it back. Retired in SC, Son and grandkids up in Maryland. Getting older and will see you soon and catch up on the last 53 years Brother.
